Charlotte Ronson is pleased to announce the launch of her new Spring/Summer '06 collection, Charlotte Ronson. Taking a departure from her highly successful line of '70 inspired tees, undies and coveted wedge heels, the C. Ronson girl is moving into more sophisticated and inspiring territory.
It was the C. Ronson line that put Charlotte Ronson on the map as a designer to be noticed. With press in renowned publications such as Vogue, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, WWD, the New York Times, and an infamous shout out in a Jay Z song, Ronson's designs became a favorite among socialties, hipsters and celebrities. The Charlotte Ronson collection proves that Ronson's work is not a fading fad, but it evolves and matures as she does.
Ronson's new partnership with acclaimed Japanese apparel company Sanei has propelled her into the upper echelons of fashion's elite. Sanei International of Tokyo has over one thousand contemporary apparel stores in Japan including Jill Stuart, Vivienne Tam, Kate Spade and Cacharel. Sanei recently opened twelve Charlotte Ronson boutiques in Japan, with four more to open by September of 2005.
In her new collection, Ronson has maintained her allegiance to the sense of playfulness that has become her trademark, while incorporating a sophisticated sense of romance. Rainbow prints and bohemian butterflies still adorn jersey cotton, but with a richer sense of color and print. Subtle hints of military and safari inspirations can also be found in the new collection of sixty looks that include lingerie, swimwear and '70s wedges.
Charlotte Ronson debuts during New York Fashion Week in September of 2005 to show that, with her many inspirations, it's her newfound growth and maturity that proves the greatest.
