ZACH CREGGER
Date of Birth: March 1, 1981
Zach Cregger was born in Sandwich, Massachusetts, but raised in Virginia. He eventually moved to New York City where he attended the School of Visual Arts and met the comedians who would join him in the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U' Know. Cregger writes, directs, and acts in the troupe's sketches.
Miss March is Cregger's feature film writing and directing debut. He created the film with Trevor Moore, a fellow The Whitest Kids U' Know member. The film is not produced by the comedy troupe itself, though: "That's why the other guys aren't in it. We're [also] writing a "Whitest Kids" movie and we didn't want to confuse the brand. I think [Miss March (2009)] has a feel to a Whitest Kids episode, but it's not a Whitest Kids movie," Cregger explains.
His acting credits include a role in the 2008 film College (2008) and an appearance on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street. He produced the comedy television series Uncle Morty's Dub Shack from 2004 to 2006, and was associate producer of six episodes of Comedy Zen and one episode of The Lounge. Other interests include music and "terrible, horrible, venomous, disastrous, hurtful, diabolical, negative, seething, damning, poisonous, villainous, sinister things."
