Toby Edward Heslewood Jones is an English actor. He has appeared in numerous successful films, such as Frost/Nixon (nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture), Captain America: The First Avenger, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Hunger Games. He provided the voice of Dobby the house elf in the Harry Potter films, and appeared as the Dream Lord in the Doctor Who episode "Amy's Choice.
Jones was born in Hammersmith, London, in 1966 the son of actors Jennifer and Freddie Jones. He appeared alongside his father in the film Ladies in Lavender. He attended Abingdon School in Oxfordshire in the early 1980s. He studied Drama at the University of Manchester from 1986 to 1989, and at L'Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris from 1989 to 1991.
