In the end, it took a computer to tell whether Terrence Trammell was the 2009 American 110m hurdles champion. The machine sided with Terrence's top U.S. rival, David Payne, who won by a mere three thousandths of a second Sunday at the U.S. Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Both men finished in 13.12. They will meet again at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Berlin, Germany (August 15-23). Aries Merrit who finished at 13.15, earned the third team spot and the right to represent the United States in the World Championships.
