Baby Spice, Emma Bunton, started her career starring in the UK's TV1 network's police drama The Bill. In 1994, she joined the musical group, Touch, which would later be named The Spice Girls (Victoria Beckham). The group became one of the most successful musical acts of the 90's, selling 35 million albums. She was nicknamed Baby Spice because of her blond pigtails and babydoll dresses. The group also starred in a feature film, Spice World, in 1997. The Spice Girls stopped recording in 2000 and Emma continued with her solo career. She went on to record 3 more albums and a charity single covering Petula Clark's “Downtown” benefiting the BBC's Children in Need.
Emma had a few television appearances since her music career. She was a celebrity contestant on the popular BBC program Strictly Come Dancing and appeared in two episodes of Absolutely Fabulous as herself. She also reportedly won the female lead to replace Beyonce Knowles in The Pink Panther 2, but had to turn down the role due to her pregnancy and tour commitments. It was also at this time, when The Spice Girls were planning to begin their reunion tour. Personally, she has been linked to Justin Timberlake and Nigel Harmon. She also has a son with musician Jade Jones. When Emma gave birth to son, Beau Lee Jones, the headline on her official website read, “Baby had a baby!”
