She and husband Woody Allen adopted their first daughter, Bechet Dumaine Allen. The baby was named after musician Sidney Bechet. (February 2000) She and husband Woody Allen adopted their second daughter, Manzie Tio Allen. She is named after Manzie Johnson, a drummer with Sidney Bechet's band. The news wasn't announced until August 23, 2000.
