Simona Bencini is a singer Italian. Simona Bencini knew very early on the music world: his father, Alessandro Bencini, worked as lyricist for many years with Riccardo Del Turkish and wrote So much for Patty Pravo. At age 17, just for fun Simona comes as a chorister in a company of friends who staged The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In 1990 meets Dirotta of Cuba, Florentine group of acid jazz and funky formed by Rossano Gentile and Stefano De Donato.

In 2012, more precisely on May 18 Simona Bencini back to being the lead singer of Dirotta of Cuba, back in the limelight on July 6 in all Italian radios with "Sense or Feeling," the first single from the group's original line-up reunion by Stefano De Donato on bass and keyboards Rossano Gentiles. The Florentine trio is back again under the leadership of Paolo Boffo, the same who discovered them in the nineties, leading to great success.
