Sean Matic is an American actor. Sean was born and raised in New York. Joining his sea-loving Croatian father on many a boat trip, he developed a fascination with creatures of the sea and a love of adventure. This soon turned into an infatuation for nature and Sean was caught on many occasions smuggling lizards and snakes into his pockets from family vacations. This connection to nature led him to Honolulu where he received a degree in Zoology from the University of Hawaii with the plan of pursuing a career in Marine Biology.
While at school, Sean formed a close friendship with two filmmakers and soon found himself executive producing the University’s TV show UH Magazine and directed several productions. After graduation, he fell upon a modeling career which took him to Tokyo and Miami. Sean has been fortunate enough to incorporate his passions - nature and racing motorcycles into his work, hosting Animal Planet’s iPredator where his zoology degree and passion for nature came in very handy, as well as riding on the racetrack alongside former world motorcycle champion Kevin Schwantz in a Suzuki commercial where his riding ability helped him land the role, not to mention hosting two shows for The Speed Channel, Test Ride and Coast to Coast where he rode a Harley Davidson from the Santa Monica Pier to the Washington DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
