Meet 15 year-old Savannah Outen from Portland, Oregon. For those members of online communities such as youtube and myspace, she is no stranger; in fact, she is gaining what some would consider “star status” with over 16 million youtube views and more than 50 thousand subscribers. Her myspace averages approximately one thousand plays per day. Savannah Outen has often been described as a child prodigy but genuinely refers to herself as just a normal teenage girl with a dream to sing. Savannah has continuously won over the hearts of millions since she began performing live at the age of 2. At age 12, Savannah found her way to the finals of America’s Best New Talent and has been invited to perform the national anthem at various sporting events for teams such as the Oakland Raiders, LA Dodgers, Anaheim Angels, Seattle Mariners, Seattle SuperSonics, Seattle Storm, and the Portland Beavers.
In the fall of 2007, Keith Thomas of Levosia Entertainment signed Savannah to an exclusive management and recording contract. Keith received a CD containing three demos, one of which was the song Goodbyes; the first single and video to be released on iTunes and other digital sites April 2008. Savannah and Keith are currently in the studio writing songs for her forthcoming debut CD. Keith was responsible for developing and signing Jordan Pruitt to Hollywood Records and produced the CD No Ordinary Girl.
Savannah’s musical influences include but are not limited to artists such as Aly & AJ, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Hannah Montana, Ashley Tisdale and the Jonas Brothers. Ironically, Savannah finds herself in the top rated positions, ranking higher than many of the artists she idolizes.
Savannah maintains a 4.0 GPA and says fun to her is; “Hanging out with friends, surfing the internet and shopping.” One does not have to be so clairvoyant to know that Savannah will establish her place in the music industry for years to come and certainly has a bright future.
