Randi Oakes is best known as Bonnie Clark on the popular series "CHiP's", but she is also the spouse to Gregory Harrison from 1980 - present. Some fax on Randi - she was born Aug. 19, 1951. Her father owned a farm in Randalia, Iowa. Her parents encouraged her to leave the small town after she won the Miss Iowa Model of the Year contest. She went to New York in search of a modeling career, when she met football hero Joe Namath right after his famous 1970 Super Bowl victory. Oakes flipped over Joe and they began a five-year love affair. They split up when she left New York to find fame as an actress. Soon Randi landed some small parts in commercials and TV shows like "Battlestar Galactica", and a guest spot on "CHiP's". That appearance lead to a regular role on the hit series as Bonnie Clark (opposite Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox). "There are seven men on "CHiP's" and I'm the only woman... It's Heaven!! I'm much more comfortable with acting than I am with modeling", she admits. "When I first came to Los Angeles I was thought of only as a model and as the girlfriend of a famous athlete. But I pursued my career and my determination paid off." But Randi also had to contend with loneliness, that ended when she met musician Michael Porcaro. And they were planning to be married until 30-year-old Gregory Harrison walked into her life during an episode of "The Battle Of The Network Stars". It was love at first sight, everyone watching the special could see the instant chemistry, and the rest is history... Now Randi is a full-time mom, and loves every minute of it. Here's a gallery of some of Mrs. Harrison's photos.
