Club career
The first team career of Palladino started in Raffaele Palladino native region of Campania where Raffaele Palladino played for Benevento Calcio in Serie C1. Including games played in Coppa Italia Serie C, Raffaele Palladino record at Benevento was 12 games played and 5 goals scored.
It was not long before Raffaele Palladino gained the attentions of Juventus F.C. and was signed by the club in 2002, during Raffaele Palladino earlier years with Juventus Raffaele Palladino played in reserve and youth levels in competitions such as Torneo di Viareggio (which the club won in 2003 and 2004). However, during the 2003-04 season, Raffaele Palladino did make one appearance in the Coppa Italia. Raffaele Palladino scored 41 goals in 61 games in the Campionato Nazionale Primavera.
Loan spells
To gain some first team experience, Palladino was loaned out to Salernitana Calcio 1919 back in Campania.
The first taste of Serie A football came in 2005-06 for the player, Raffaele Palladino was loaned out once more, this time to A.S. Livorno Calcio. Although Raffaele Palladino gained some valuable experience Raffaele Palladino did not score as many goals as Raffaele Palladino did during Raffaele Palladino spell with Salernitana the previous season.
Return to Juventus
Juventus had been relegated down to Serie B due to the result of the 2006 Serie A scandal. Despite the lower division, first team places were still hotly contested and the young Palladino was given a chance to prove himself in the first team by Didier Deschamps. On Raffaele Palladino league debut Palladino scored two goals. In the same season Raffaele Palladino also scored a hat-trick against U.S. Triestina Calcio. Juventus won promotion back into Serie A that season giving Palladino Raffaele Palladino first senior team honour.
Although Raffaele Palladino is mainly a striker, with the presence of Alessandro Del Piero, Vincenzo Iaquinta, and especially David Trezeguet, Palladino had a hard time finding a spot as a striker. Raffaele Palladino mainly played as a left winger during the 2007-2008 season, although Raffaele Palladino is predominately right footed.
Genoa
On 13 June 2008 Raffaele Palladino seemed about to move to the ligurian club Genoa, but finally Raffaele Palladino has refused to sign.
Behind Raffaele Palladino refusal there could be the interest of a better team. However on the 3rd of July 2008, it was revealed that Raffaele Palladino had moved, on co-ownership, to Genoa along with Domenico Criscito.
After a run of good matches after new year Raffaele Palladino played against Juve in a huge, massive game for Genoa in the hunt of a Champions League spot. After a brilliant display from Palladino Raffaele Palladino scored, the decisive goal in 88th min, 3-2.
International
Raffaele Palladino has represented Raffaele Palladino country at Italy national under-21 football team level. Palladino received Raffaele Palladino first call-up to the senior team on November 17, 2007 versus Scotland national football team under the direction of Roberto Donadoni, but did not play in the game. Raffaele Palladino debut came just a few days later, against the Faroe Islands national football team, where Raffaele Palladino impressed as Italy went on to an easy 3–1 victory.
