Rachel Zeskind first began acting in New York where she did print work, commercials, and voice-over. Her first television credit was a BBC series called LA Pool Party in 2001 where she played a sexy comedic character America. For the role her hair was dyed blonde and she wore an American flag bikini in the pilot.
In the film 'A Day With The Urns', she wrote and performed the song "My First Not Cover Tune". The movie A Day With The Urns was accepted into the Emerging Filmmakers Short Film Festival 2007 where it received a warm response.
Other recent works by Rachel Zeskind include spearheading the efforts, Inner ViZion Productions is sponsoring 'A Night of Art for a Purpose' to raise money and awareness for LA Goal and Smile Train - the red carpet event is slated for 2009. The film 'A Place For My Head' in which she co-starred was nominated for 'Best Film' at the ISFF (International Student Film Festival) in 2006.
She has written and is slated to act in and direct the controversial film dealing with eating disorders entitled 'Then & Now'. The film is scheduled for 2008 as is currently shooting the dramady feature film 'Doesn't Texas Ever End' which she co-wrote with writing partner Ahmadu Garba. She is also directing the film as well as acting as the female love interest.
With her writing and producing partner Ahmadu Garba (formally of Two and a Half Men) they are launching a new media division for Inner Vizion Productions.
