He is the youngest of three siblings, an older brother, Juan Carlos, and older sister Giovanna. In 1982 , his family moved from Columbia to Fort Lauderdale , in the southeastern part of the state of Florida . In high school, Boca Raton High School, he was a promising player in polo and basketball . Successful in sports, winning the title of Most Valuable Player and Athlete of the Year. In the 19th century, years he studied computer science and engineering design at Florida Atlantic University.
At the urging of a friend signed a contract with the agency for models in Miami and worked as a model in New York . Soon after, he was cast as Max in the sitcom In addition to Blue ( Out of the Blue , 1996 ). He studied acting in Methods of Acting under the direction of Aurthora Mendoza in Los Angeles .
From June 1997 to 3 July 2000 , he played the character of Jesse Blue soap opera CBS Luminous Guide ( The Guiding Light ). He made his debut on the cinema screen in the thriller Wild Things ( Wild Things , 1998 ) alongside Kevin Bacon , Neve Campbell , Matt Dillon and Denise Richards .
