Paula Lane is a British actress, perhaps best known for her work as Kylie Turner in Coronation Street. In 2010 Lane was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2011 National Television Awards. She has also gained other nominations for her portrayal of Kylie. Lane has appeared in several programmes, including Heartbeat, Casualty, Still Game and EastEnders. Lane made her professional début in EastEnders in 2008 and then continued her career in Heartbeat in 2009. Since then she has appeared in Going Postal by Terry Pratchett for Sky, The Royal and Doctors. Lane also features in the short film War Wounds alongside Stephen Mangan.
