Paddy Mcguinness is an English comedian, comedy actor, television personality and presenter, best known for his roles within ITV and Channel 4, most famously as the host of Take Me Out. Paddy has presented several primetime shows for ITV including Take Me Out since 2010, 71 Degrees North in 2010 and Your Face Sounds Familiar since 2013. Paddy currently co-hosts the Christmas charity telethon Text Santa on ITV.
He has also presented several primetime Channel 4 programmes such as Hotel GB in 2012 and Paddy's TV Guide in 2013. McGuinness made his television debut in 1997 as a contestant for the show God's Gift. He also appeared in the second series of the Sky1 show The Match. McGuinness hosted Inside Wayne Rooney on 15 May 2006 on Sky1, a programme where he completed different tasks to see the difference between him and a professional footballer. He appeared with Leigh Francis' alter ego Keith Lemon on Let's Dance for Comic Relief in 2009, dancing to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life". Paddy has starred as a panellist in seven episodes of Lemon's ITV2 show Celebrity Juice. In 2012, Paddy played Gary in Keith Lemon: The Film.
