Omar cruz is a West Coast rapper, who also goes by the nickname of Blunts, adding LLA to represent "Latin Lyrical Assassin." His two mixtapes, City of Gods and Blow, got noticed by Interscope Records, which soon allowed Omar’s independent label, BYI Entertainment, to strike a joint venture deal with Interscope and Geffen Records. This speeded Omar’s release of the album The Cruzifixion. Omar was set to release his debut album, Sign of the Cruz, in 2007 but plans of a release have been postponed indefinetly. In January 2007, Omar cut a mixtape called 2007 B.C. (Before Cruz) with DJ Skee and Big Mike. He has also recorded a single with The Game and WC entitled "Power House". In August 2007, his first single from his to be released debut album came out, called "Hang With My Dogz," while in February 2008 his second single, "Gangsta Music" f. The Game, was unleased on Myspace and radio stations. Omar is working on his forthcoming album with producers Cool & Dre, Rome, Javie Lopez, Hi-Tek, Nottz and DJ Khalil.
