Nindy Kaur is the wife of RDB member Manjeet Ral. She was raised in the U.K. and grew up listening to Bhangra music, including artists like Ranjit Kaur and Mohammad Sadiqu. Nindy made her stage debut in 2004 when she went on tour in the United States with Shezad Roy & Sukhbir. Soon after meeting RDB singer Manjeet, Nindy started performing with the Bhangra band, and after hitting the stage with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar at the Toronto International Film Festival, she became a household name on the Bhangra scene. Nindy soon released her debut song “Aja Sajana” featured on the album “Danger 3” on Untouchables Records. She went on to record “Gur Nalo Ishq” and “Gidha Pao” featured on DJH's debut release. In 2008, Nindy Kaur worked on the music for the movie Aloo Chaat starring Aftab Shivdasani, Aamna Sharif, Linda Arsenio, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sanjay Mishra, and Manoj Pahwa .
Nindy and the Rhythm Dhol Bass brothers were featured in the music video for the track. Nindy is currently signed onto Three Records and continues to perform with RDB on tour or in the studio. In October 2009, Nindy dropped her solo track “Dil Mera Laigiya" as a free Diwali gift to her fans. She has also been busy giving her fans an insight into her life through her video blog. When DH! spoke to Nindy about her love for music she told us, "When I do my live set, the crowd love this song [“Dil Mera Laigiya.”] I can feel their energy, so I thought, why not give my fans something which they'd love to hear. I love this song, it's one of my favorites! On such a happy holiday, I thought it would be the best gift that I could give to my fans across the world".
