Necar Zadegan is an Iranian American film, television actress and model. She is best known for her recurring role as First Lady (and then President) Dalia Hassan on the eighth and final season of 24. She currently stars as Dr. Gina Bandari on Emily Owens, M.D.
Zadegan was born in Heidelberg, Germany on June 20th 1982 and raised in San Francisco, California. She went to Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward and her high school theatre director was Arlene Hood. She later graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Literature. From 2005 to 2009 she amassed a number of television credits namely The Bernie Mac Show, Nip/Tuck, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, The Unit, How I Met Your Mother, Big Shots, Lost, The Shield and CSI: Miami. In 2009, she appeared in the stage production of From Satellite with Love "Az Mahvareh Ta Eshgh", touring in the U.S. and Europe. In 2010, she earned recurring roles on 24, Outlaw and The Event, as well appearing in the films Elena Undone and Unthinkable.
