Since her childhood Natalia Verbeke always dreamt of becoming an actress. She studied ballet, flamenco dance and performance courses for fourteen years and attended the Real Escuela Superior of Dramatic Arts in Madrid.
Natalia was born in Argentina on February 23, 1975. At the age of 11, along with her family she moved to Spain.
She made her debut with the Argentinian film, "Son of the Bride". She is best known for her sterling performance in Joel Hopkins independent film, ‘Jump Tomorrow’. She soon became the hottest young film star in Spain. Her notable performances include El lado malo de la cama, directed by Emilio Martínez Lázaro; Kasbah, directed by Mariano Barroso; Nadie conoce a nadie (Nobody Knows Anyone), directed by Mateo Gil; and Carretera y manta {Road and Blanket}, directed by Alfonso Arandia;
Natalia Verbeke, though she is a native of Argentina represented her adopted country Spain at the 2000 Berlin Film Festival in the prestigious Shooting Stars program.
In the year 2000 she was named as one of European films 'Shooting Stars' by European Film Promotion.
