Teen star Montana Tucker is a singer and songwriter, actress and dancer. She was born in Florida, where she still resides. She began modeling at the age of 8 and quickly became one of the most sought out child models in both Florida and NY. Montana quickly caught the attention of producers and directors and began booking national commercials, music videos, and television shows. At the young age of just 12, Montana had a resume that looked like someone twice her age could only achieve, which included 9 national commercials, covers of magazines and a national TV show. Montana has appeared in numerous television shows, including starring in the national PBS children’s show “E-Venture Kids” with co-star Mathew Underwood from Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101. Other shows have included, The Ally and Jack Show, Inside Edition, MTV’s “Newlyweds The Nick and Jessica Show” and several Telemundo shows including “The Roof” and” Que Pasa USA”. Starting her musical career as a backup dancer for Ashanti and Ashley Simpson, she quickly became the “featured dancer” and just recently was featured with Chris Brown on MTV's "My Super 18" where she performed for his birthday party at Club 40/40. Also Montana was chosen to perform with Raz B formerly of B2K at his concert. Her career as a solo artist has taken off, and she was honored to be one of the featured artists at the 2007 Super Bowl's VIP NFL party, as well as opened for Ciara, Omarion, Pit Bull, Fabolous and Lil Wayne. Montana was also chosen to perform the national anthem for the nationally televised “Hula Bowl”, the Miami Heat and Florida Panther games. You will be able to hear Montana on the upcoming soundtrack for the movie "STEP UP 2 . . . the streets" in theaters February 14th. Montana will be singing the hit single "AIN'T NO STRESSIN" produced by the amazing producer STEREO. Montana as a dancer won the World Hip Hop Championships where she competed with dancers from all over the world, that included countries such as Brazil, China, Japan, and Canada, to name a few. Montana also won in Florida first place for “Starz Of The Future” and just this September won "Best Overall Performance" at BB Kings at Universal in LA. Montana receives extensive vocal training from World Renown vocal coach/producer Betty Wright, who you may recognize from the MTV show "Making The Band 3" where she was the vocal coach for Danity Kane. Besides Betty's fame from her own successful career as an artist, she is credited for training Joss Stone and vocal producing Joss's albums as well. Montana also received training in Hollywood from Gary Spatz an acclaimed acting coach to Dylan and Cole Sprouse for the hit Disney Channel series "the Suite Life of Zack and Cody". Montana has also trained in hip hop dance with Shane Sparks (“So You Think You Can Dance” judge), Shotyme (Gwen Stefani’s choreographer) and Chuck Maldonado (choreographer to the movie “Stomp The Yard”).
