Monique Pean is an American Model and Fashion Gesigner. Pean’s debut BERING Collection was inspired by Alaskan Native art and culture and was the designer's first fine jewelry collection to prominently feature fossilized woolly mammoth and fossilized walrus ivory. These materials continue to be hallmarks of MONIQUE PEAN collections, which have garnered notoriety for their innovation, refinement, unique materials and commitment to sustainability. In 2009, Pean was one of the recipients of the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award and, as part of the award, received Tiffany & Co.’s CEO Michael Kowalski as her mentor. In the same year, she was the winner of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award for accessories.
