When Moneca took her first dancing steps on stage at the age of three, nobody knew that this would become a total dedication to several expressions of the performing arts. A natural talent, Moneca has entertained audiences with an awesome variety of dancing (Polynesian, jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop). She has won numerous awards in dancing competitions and has performed from Disneyland to Las Vegas.
In 2002, Moneca landed the job most girls dream of - recording a single and starring in your own music video. Cris Judd signed on to play her love interest, as well as lend his considerable choreography skills to the dance segment. For Moneca, the amazing experience of the music video is the natural fruition of her years of training in singing, acting and dancing.
Moneca got her feature film break in MGM's "Agent Cody Banks" where she seductively flirted with Frankie Muniz, giving him a holographic lesson on how to act with girls. This turned out to be a springboard, launching her into various supporting, guest starring and lead roles on projects such as the feature film "Thralls", the WB series "Black Sash", as well as a recurring role on another WB hit show "Smallville".
At the end of 2005, Moneca was cast in Revolution Studios' "Little Man", she thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to exercise her comedy chops with Shawn & Marlon Wayans and is grateful to Keenen for advising her to "Get to LA!!!" Soon after "Little Man" wrapped, she packed her bags and experienced her first pilot season in LA.
In 2006, Moneca was busy filming three features back to back. The first being an indie, "Kill Kill, Faster Faster", a film based on the acclaimed novel by Joel Rose. She stars alongside Gill Bellows & Lisa Ray. Following production of "KKFF" in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Moneca returned to her hometown of Vancouver, B.C. to join the cast of the sequel to 20th Century Fox's "Fantastic Four". She worked with Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans & Jessica Alba.
Moneca recently wrapped production on Warner Bros./Brian Singer produced "Trick 'R Treat". It is a film that takes place on Halloween night with four storylines intertwined. In the storyline with Moneca are fellow cast members Anna Paquin, Rochelle Aytes & Lauren Lee Smith. The film also stars Brian Cox, Dylan Baker & Leslie Bibb.
