A lifelong resident of New York City, Mizuo Peck was just a little girl when she became aware of her passion and natural talent for acting. At the age of 11, Mizuo took the first steps toward pursuing a career as a performer when she enrolled in New York’s prestigious TADA! Children's Theatre Company. Mizuo stayed at the school for three years, during which time she impressed both her teachers and family members with her perseverance and willingness to try new things on stage. Eager to continue her studies, Mizuo began attending classes at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts -- an institute that boasts several well-known alumni, including Jennifer Aniston, Adrien Brody and Adrian Grenier.
Following a four-year stint at the State University of New York at Purchase (a school that counts Josh Hartnett, Wesley Snipes and Parker Posey among its graduates), Mizuo began seriously looking for work as an actress. She made her debut in a 2000 Canada/Germany production entitled, Winter of Regret, which has yet to see the big screen in North America. The film did, however, opened a few doors for Mizuo in Hollywood. The following year, Mizuo landed a small but key role opposite Jeff Bridges and Noah Wyle in the thriller Scenes of the Crime. Mizuo spent the next few years popping up on TV shows like All My Children and Law and Order: Criminal Intent, but it was in 2006 when she successfully auditioned for a role in the smash hit Night at the Museum that things really started to take off. Cast as Sacajawea, Mizuo soon found herself acting alongside folks like Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson.
We look forward to seeing more of this hot, exotic and half-Japanese babe in the years to come.
