Born in Summit New Jersey, Masini played Jr./Professional Ice Hockey for the Boston Jr. Bruins and the Amarillo Rattlers of the Western Professional Hockey League.

His sights shifted to Hollywood after the passing of his older brother Robert Joseph Masini.

He graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2004, then moved on to Hollywood, to pursue a career in Acting/ Screenwriting (Acting/Writing/Producing). He's currently in the process of packaging his first Feature "The Cadillac Crew" a comedy about the sons to the old school Frank Sinatra type mobsters. "Swingers" meets "Diner" & "Goodfellas".

He modeled for Versace, Nautica, Levis & Rock & Republic and did television commercials for Coors Light, McDonalds, Round-Up, Taco Bell and Dodge, most notably the 2005-2006 "Dodge Magnum Campaign".

Michael is the youngest of 5. His father Ernest Franklin Masini Jr. is a Wall-Street stockbroker and his mother Joan is a school teacher.
