Meadow Williams was born in Florida and raised in Tennessee on a large dairy farm. She milked cows, mended fences, gathered eggs, and dreamed of Hollywood. In high school, Meadow excelled in other studies, but only cared about drama classes and plays. A modeling job got her a free trip to New York, where she studied acting, and soon drove to Los Angeles. Meadow got acting work very quickly and continued working in television and movies. Currently Meadow acts, writes, and produces in Los Angeles.
Meadow's career exploded when she landed roles in the smash hit motion pictures "The Mask" (1994) and "Beverly Hills Cop" (1994). These roles catapulted Meadow to her most recognizable and esteemed on-screen performance: her role as Kevin Bacon's significant other in the Oscar-award winning "Apollo 13" (1995). Meadow's work with Kevin Bacon and legendary director Ron Howard imparted wisdom and insight that elevated her art to an even higher plane; she still incorporates Howard's teachings in her performances today. Meadow jumped at the opportunity to play Misty, a beautiful otherworldly heroine in Light Years Away. The casting of Misty was an ideal fit. Misty is a sweet, loving, pure-hearted character - which closely matches Meadow's personality.
She soon moved into lead roles in Jack Rio (2008) and Skeletons in the Desert (2008). She then played Lily in The Intruders (2009) and Raven (2009), the self-titled role as Raven, a sexy, seductive vampire. She recently finished playing Miranda Barnes, a woman dying of cancer who is miraculously cured by a handsome young stranger (Daeg Faerch), who claims to be the soul of her aborted child. Little does she know that her clean bill of health will cost her the lives of the people she loves most. Meadow has just finished her latest role of Lavinia in Mysteria (post-production 2011), a film about a once famous and now a washed-up Hollywood screenwriter fighting to finish his latest script with an unrealistic deadline. He finds himself in the center of a murder investigation involving a prominent politician's wife.
