McKay grew up in Washington State, playing soccer, baseball and getting a taste of acting in high school plays. But it rained a lot, so he moved. To Los Angeles. For the sun and to pursue a career in entertainment.

After some time in academe he broke into song and dance, performing in shows like West Side Story and Gypsy.

But realizing the lack of crossover between musical theatre and film and television, McKay began pursuing his other arts, namely gymnastics and martial arts.

So today, with a diverse training background, including classic dance, music, martial arts, voice, and classic theatre he wears a broad spectrum of "hats" in entertainment: including but not limited to producer, actor, stuntman, stunt coordinator and writer.

Also, watch out for him in amateur Thai kickboxing matches, which he is once again training for.
