Mark Wright is an English reality television personality and radio presenter best known for being one of the original main cast members in The Only Way Is Essex. On 23 October 2011, he announced that he would be leaving the show at the end of the third series, although he made a cameo appearance in the sixth series and returned for the 2012 Christmas special. After leaving TOWIE, Wright participated in the eleventh series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, finishing as the runner-up behind Dougie Poynter.
Before his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, Wright was a semi-professional footballer, with a youth career at Tottenham Hotspur. In January 2012, he rekindled his semi-professional footballing career, by signing for St Neots Town. On 13 November 2011, he appeared on series 11 of the ITV1 reality TV show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and was runner up to McFly's Dougie Poynter in the public vote. On 13 December 2011, it was announced that he would co-present Take Me Out spin-off programme Take Me Out: The Gossip for ITV2, which began on 8 January 2012. This is Wright's first presenting role. On 21 December, it was confirmed Wright would become a health expert for the ITV Breakfast programme Daybreak for a two week stint from 9 January 2012. On 25 December, he was a contestant on All Star Family Fortunes, alongside the cast of The Only Way Is Essex.
In 2012, Wright starred in a new ITV2 show titled Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights. The show ran from 10 June 2012 until 7 July 2012. He also made a non-speaking appearance in series 6 of The Only Way Is Essex in August 2012 at his sister Jessica's gig. On 24 December 2012, Wright joined Heart where he currently presents Club Classics each Friday and Saturday evenings.
