Maggie Siff, born and raised in Bronx, New York, is an American film and TV actress who had her roots in theater acting. One of her more prominent roles on television is playing the heiress of a Jewish department store business during the '60s on the AMC drama Mad Men.
Growing up with a father who was also a stage actor, among her earliest memories are watching his father perform on stage. As a child, she always knew she wanted to be an actress. Most of her work as a theater actress were done in New York and Philadelphia. In 2006, Maggie spent more time in Los Angeles, California, doing guest spots in television series such as Grey's Anatomy and Nip/Tuck. The following year, she became part of the premiere season of Mad Men. In 2008, she was cast as a series regular in the FX series on the world of motorcycle clubs called Sons of Anatchy.
