Mads Mikkelsen is a part of the great success the Danish film industry has had since the mid-90s. He starting out as a low-life pusher/junkie in the 1996 success "Pusher", and from then on he slowly grew to become one of Denmarks biggest movie actors. The success in Denmark includes such movies as "Flickering Lights" (Blinkende lygter) (2000), "Shake It All About" (En kort en lang) (2001), "After the Wedding" (Efter bryllupet) (2006) and the Emmy winning police series "Unit 1" (Rejseholdet) (2000). Mads landed his first big part in an American movie in 2004 when he played Tristan in "King Arthur" His next movie is the upcoming "Casino royal" where he plays Le Chiffre, James Bonds arch enemy
