Lorenzo began performing in 1978 in his parent’s circus, The Pickle Family Circus. During his career as a circus performer he worked in many circuses, including Cirque Du Soleil, as a clown, juggler, aerialist, acrobat, ringmaster, working in Asia, Europe and all over of the US.

In 1999, he retired after 20 years as a circus performer and moved to New York City. He began working as an actor working in his first professional job at Theatre for a New Audience’s Troilus and Cressida directed by renowned theatre director, Sir Peter Hall. Since then he has worked at Lincoln Center, Manhattan Theater Club, The Public Theater, Second Stage with actors such as Richard Griffiths, Daniel Radcliffe, Kevin Kline, Marcia Gay Harden, Ethan Hawke, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Waterston, Blair Brown, Campbell Scott, Hope Davis, Jimmy Smits, Kristen Johnston, and Jobeth Williams. He’s also worked around the country at South Coast Repertory, American Conservatory Theater, The McCarter Theater, Seattle Repertory Theater, and The Guthrie Theater.
