Lorenzo Henrie was born to Linda and Jim Henrie, and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He went to school at Cheyenne Traditional School, St. Francis De Sales and Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California.
Lorenzo James started acting at age eight and had his first feature film debut playing the lead role of Jerry in a film called Arizona Summer. Henrie went on to work on a variety of roles in television, including a recurring role on the WB 7th Heaven, playing Jeffrey, the adopted son of Chandler, (played by actor Jeremy London).
Other credits include roles in Ghost Whisperer, NCIS, Cold Case, Malcolm in the Middle, Wanted, and LAX. In 2009, Lorenzo James Henrie was cast in J. J. Abrams’, Star Trek feature film playing a Vulcan Bully, and at the age of 16, he landed the leading role of Ted Wheeler in the film, The Wheeler Boys, alongside Portia Doubleday and Alex Frost. The Wheeler Boys had its world-wide feature debut in June at the LA Film Festival, 2010. In a review of the film, The Hollywood Reporter commented.
