Lauren Stamile is an American actress best known for her recurring roles as "Nurse Rose" on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy, as "Professor Slater" on the NBC series Community, and as "CIA Agent Dani Pearce" in seasons 5-6 of the USA Network hit TV series Burn Notice. She had 40 credits to her name prior to this current role, including starring as Kate Jackson in the television movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Charlie's Angels. She spent a season co-starring in the short-lived situation comedy Off Centre.
At the beginning, Lauren has appeared in the following commercials: Old Spice, JC Penney, GM Holiday Spot, summer’s Eve, Tassimo, and Volkswagen. Appeared in a 2000 episode of The Drew Carey Show, then relocated to Los Angeles to co-star in the WB network sitcom Off Centre. After that show's cancellation, she began a series of guest roles in television shows, including Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, The West Wing, Cold Case, Boston Legal, Community, The Good Guys, Crossing Jordan, Tru Calling, The West Wing, Summerland and Scrubs. She also starred in the Lifetime TV movie, Midnight Bayou.
Stamile guest starred in the second season of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva as a pharmaceutical rep. She joined the cast of Burn Notice for Seasons 5 and 6. The recordings of the film Low Fidelity was completed in 2011. As of 2007, her theatrical agency is The Gersh Agency and her agency for commercials is Innovative Artists Agency. She is managed by Schumacher Management. Lauren's theatrical credits include Murder on the Nile, The Miser, Lion in Winter, and Lounge Act.
