This singer/songwriter, Kristy Kay grew up in Hollywood but moved to Nashville to work on her songwriting. She began her professional career with session work, singing for the Kidz Bop series,selling more than 20 million cd’s on Razor and Tie records, plus Barbie and Bratz dolls, Coca Cola, Target,IBM commercials.
She was signed to a singles deal with Universal Records with her song “Who’s That Loving You Now?” and in 2006 she teamed with producer Lenny Bertoldo for a cover version of the Divinyls’ 1991 hit “I Touch Myself.” Released on the Radikal Records imprint Bump, the white-label pressing was an instant dancefloor/Radio hit, and went to number one on Xm BPM Radio, Then remixes from DJ Stone and Marco Zappala appeared on the track’s official release. She has a song along the side of Three Doors Down and Michael Jackson in the American Idol Video Game and her track “Angel” appeared in the 2009 Dance Dance Revolution video game, and in 2008 she recently co-wrote “Move Your Body,” the debut single from Adult Film star Savanna Samson.
