Kika Rocha was named fashion and beauty director of People en Español in 2004. In this position, she oversees the editorial development of the magazine’s fashion and beauty sections, including “El Cambio,” (the Makeover) and “Mas por Menos,” (More for Less). Additionally, Rocha contributes a monthly column titled, “Estilo Kika,” (Kika Style) which gives readers a behind-the-scenes look into the latest trends in fashion and beauty. Before joining People en Español, Rocha was at the now—defunct Time Inc. title Sports Illustrated for Women, where she created and managed the Letters Department. Prior, she helped launch the Colombian edition of ELLE magazine.
Rocha frequently appears as a fashion and beauty expert on top Hispanic television shows. She has also provided fashion commentaries on the red carpet at awards shows such as the Latin Grammys, Premios Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud. She is a regular judge on Univision’s “Belleza Latina” reality show. Rocha holds a Masters Degree in Publishing from New York University and a law degree from the Universidad De Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. She also attended the Continuing Studies Program at Stamford University.
