Keala Kennelly is a professional surfer. She was featured playing herself in the movie Blue Crush. She was also in the movie Step Into Liquid. She set a record in 2005 at Teahupoo, riding the biggest tow in wave by a woman. Keala grew up on Kauai. In 2007 she took a break from the World Championship Tour (WCT) to costar in the HBO series John from Cincinnati. In 2001 she starred in the surfing documentary 7 Girls.
