Pensacola, Florida native Katy Mixon has a wide range of projects set to debut in the coming months. Over the 2008 holiday season, Katy Mixon co-starred opposite Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn in the Warner Bros. production "Four Christmases," portraying the very pregnant wife of co-star Jon Favreau.

Early in 2009, Katy Mixon can be seen in Universal Pictures' "State of Play" opposite Russell Crowe and in the 20th Century Fox feature "All About Steve" playing Elizabeth, the traveling companion to Sandra Bullock. In addition, Katy Mixon will be featured in the independent feature film "The Informers," directed by Gregor Jordon and based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel.

Katy Mixon knew at a very young age she was destined for a career in the performing arts. During her senior year of high school, Katy Mixon was given an award by the National Foundation of the Arts in Miami, which led to an audition for and acceptance into the drama program at Carnegie Mellon University. Katy Mixon graduated in 2003 with a BFA from the Conservatory of Drama.

Katy Mixon was a featured member of the 2000 summer season company at the Tony Award-Winning Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah. Katy Mixon continues to perform regularly throughout southern California with the Upright Cabaret Company.
