Katia Elizarova is a Russian model. At the age of 14, Elizarova was spotted on the street in her home town by the modelling scout Guia Jikidze (who also discovered Natalia Vodianova, Eugenia Volodina, Irina Shayk, Elena Melnik, and Polina Kouklina).
He recommended that she become a model, after which she quickly went on to shoot the cover of Jalouse and star in a number of Russian television commercials and campaigns for brands including Pepsi, Kirin, La Foret and Sok Dobriy. By the age of 15, despite continuing with her studies, Elizarova was already working for extended periods in London, Paris, Milan and Tokyo. Some of her early work included commercials for Pepsi and working with Versace, Valentino, and Preen. Recent campaigns include Esprit, Triumph, GHD, Toni & Guy, and launching George Davies' luxury fashion brand GIVe. She has also appeared on the cover of Fabulous Magazine, GQ-Guide to the Ultimate Night Out, S Magazine and had features in In Style Magazine, Marie Claire, T3 and Sky Showbiz. In early 2011, Elizarova shot a television campaign for Rimmel London along side Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel that will appear on screens throughout 2011. In August of the same year she signed with IMG Models, who also represent Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Gemma Ward, Freja Beha, Ann Ward, Lara Stone and Lily Cole.
In November 2011, Elizarova was hired by $1bn US fashion company Max Studio as the brand's new face and ambassador. She will appear in global advertising campaigns, open runway shows and appear a numerous high-profile events for the fashion house. Elizarova is the brand's first ambassador and also replaces past faces of the brand Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Cole.
