Kate Ford, 1997 U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships Showcase Division winner, and Golden State Dance Teachers Association Master Instructor, has been dancing and teaching for over 20 years. Through extensive training in dance, music and massage therapy, she brings a strong awareness of body movement and musical interpretation to all of her classes. Kate has trained extensively with the top teacher trainer in the country, Skippy Blair. Through Kate's strong knowledge and commitment to teaching, she enables dancers to learn and incorporate what's necessary to become a better dancer.
Along with her recent win at the U.S Open, Kate has won some of the most prestigious swing contests in the country. She travels around the United States teaching dance and judging seminars. Exciting and breathtaking to watch, she is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled instructor, dance technician and coach.
