Julie Zwillich was born in California. She became a television personality in Canada in 1997 with the debut of her first show, "Stuff" (1997), which subsequently aired on ABC Australia, across Asia and South America and on the WAM! network in the United States. Zwillich became a household name across Ontario after being a part of the TVOKIDS live broadcasting team for 5 years and went on to host "Brainbounce!" (2001), which also aired on Discovery UK. Her animation voiceover career grew at the same time: she voiced all 26 characters on "The Blobs" (1999) (TVO); was the voice of "Emily" and "Enrique" on Beyblade ("Bakuten shoot beyblade" (2002)) (YTV, ABC Family) and is the voice of CBC's popular Naughty Pig in "The X" (2003). Zwillich's recent television hosting credits include "Sweat" (2003) (Outdoor Life Network & TSN), "Summer's Best" (2003) (Food Network Canada) and "Surprise! It's Edible Incredible!" (2004) (CBC).
