Judith Hoersch discovered her love of acting already early on. After her Abitur A-levels she attended the Berufsfachschule für Schauspiel Drama school in Cologne from which she graduated, in 2004, as a certified stage performer. Judith Hoersch starred in television/film productions already while still at school and during her studies, roles included: Sherry Hormanns Männer wie wir, Gisela, Lieben and Die Klasse von "99. Judith also starred in the RTL four-part miniseries Das geheime Leben der Spielerfrauen,in one of the lead roles, and personally sang the featured song “Somewhere over the rainbow”. In 2005 the talented actress wrote and produced her first short film Marlen & Bijou and starred in one of the lead roles. A further short film followed, Today is my day, in which she appeared alongside Lenn Kudrjawizki in the lead role and also sang the title song. Judith Hoersch is also well known from various comedies including Mein Leben und Ich andHausmeister Krause and also the first women’s comedy, Coconut Kiss. In 2007 she was a fixed cast member of the ARD telenovelaRote Rosen in which she starred in one of the main roles as a policewoman. In 2008 Judith Hoersch starred in the British film,Albert’s Memorial, directed by David Richards – a road movie drama set in the present day as well as in 1945. Here Judith stars in the lead female role, a double role, alongside Sir David Jason and David Warner. The 90-minute drama will be shown on primetime British television on ITV in autumn 2009. Judith enjoys, besides dancing, also various sports including dressage which she has been doing professionally for 13 years, and also yoga. Since 2001 Judith Hoersch has been writing series and film scripts. Her first book, Das asthmatische Röcheln des Kühlschranks bei Nacht, will be released early 2009 and features short stories.
