Joshua Close is a Canadian actor. He first garnered notice for his portrayal of "Oliver" in Jacob Tierney's "Twist". He attended Circle in the Square Theater School. He attended Ryerson University for Sociology. Some more notable film work includes Kathryn Bigelow's "K19: The Widowmaker", "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", New Lines "Full of It", George Romero's "Diary of the Dead", Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming "The Master". He starred in "The Pacific" for HBO and "The Unusuals" opposite Jeremy Renner and Adam Goldberg. He wrote/directed his first film, "Short on Love" in 2009. Recently wrote and starred in "Replicas" with Selma Blair and James D'Arcy. And produced by his younger brother, editor and chief of The Lab Magazine. He won Best Supporting Actor in a mini-series, "Thorne: Sleepyhead" at the 2011 Gemini Awards.
