Joshua Bitton is an American actor. He got the acting bug while attending college at the University of Albany - SUNY. He started by taking an acting class and discovered that he liked it, so he took a second acting class. In this class, they were assigned an “open scene.” An open scene is lines that have no meaning until you give them a circumstance. Everyone in the class learned the same lines and then the teacher assigned them a partner and a circumstance.
Joshua Bitton grew up in New York City and, most recently, returned from Australia, having worked on Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' mini-series, "The Pacific" (2010), which is the 2nd installment of "Band of Brothers" (2001). Along with various roles in film and television, Josh has worked extensively in the theatre, including Off-Broadway productions of "Romeo and Juliet", "The Seagull" and "The Crumple Zone". Regionally, he has worked at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Pioneer Rep, Capital Rep, STW, Centennial Theatre, The Hangar and Studio Arena. He received his MFA from Rutgers University and attended Stuyvesant High School.
