Joan Smalls is a Puerto Rican fashion model. Smalls has appeared in campaigns for Gucci, Lacoste, Gap, H&M, Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Fendi, Calvin Klein, David Yurman, Barneys New York, Rag & Bone, Estee Lauder, and Stella McCartney. She has appeared in editorials for several international editions of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, i-D, GQ, Dazed & Confused, American and Spanish V Magazine, and W Magazine.

She has been on the covers of Australian, Italian, Japanese and Turkish editions of Vogue, British Elle, South African GQ, W Magazine, i-D, and V Magazine.
