Jessica Linley is a university student and commercial model who was crowned Miss England on 1 September 2010. She is originally from Norwich. She represented Nottingham at the Miss England competition and England at Miss World 2010. Linley was born at the Reading and Wokingham hospital on 28 March 1989 to Michael and Rosemary Linley.

She moved from Reading to Norwich in 1991. Linley attended Brundall Primary School, and Thorpe St Andrew High School. At Sixth Form in Norwich she obtained 3 Alevels in History, English Literature and Religious Studies.She used to work at Mercy Nightclub in Norwich. At University she was Treasurer of the Law Society and Finance Officer for the Athletic Union. Linley has suspended her studies at University of Nottingham while she focuses on being Miss England. She will return to University in September of this year but hopes to continue both modelling and presenting.

She enjoys photography, having been taught by her father Mike Linley, a senior wildlife producer known for his years on award-winning series Survival. Linley is also a trained live and auto cue presenter, having made two programs set for release in the UK later this year. In November 2010 she spoke out against the rise in student tuition fees.
