Nixon's daughter Tricia Nixon in Oscar®-winning director Ron Howard's Academy-nominated "Frost/Nixon," Jenn Gotzon has starred in over 30 independent films and last year was crowned Best Actress in the 168-Hour Film Festival's Best Film "Stained." By year's end she'd been named 2008 Rising Star by the Wildwood by the Sea Film Festival, whose fest director Paul Russo described Gotzon as "having the acting depth of Kate Winslet and the charisma of Reese Witherspoon" -- and put her on the dais with Wildwood Hometown Pride Award honoree Chubby Checker.
"Gotzon continuously garners awards for her Meryl Streep chameleon-like transformations," states Valley Social Magazine in which Jenn appeared on this month's cover. Awards include: 'Stained' (168 Hour Film Festival), 'Chemistry' (Wildwood by the Sea Film Fest), 'All Heart & Soul' (Sacramento's CREO7), 'Julie and Jack' (Global Art Film Festival), and a Telly Award for commercial "SpaceBookFlikTube." Gotzon is leaping her way into the studio world with cameos on "Role Models," "500 Days of Summer," "The Hulk," "Pushing Daisies," "House" & "CSI: NY."
Graduate of The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Joanne Baron / DW Brown Studio, Dale Carnegie Institute and Clay Banks Film Acting Studio, Gotzon strives for cinematic excellence bringing the director's complete vision alive on screen through artful subtleties in her performance.
Jenn and her Doritos Super Bowl ad contest finalist writer-director husband Chris Armstrong were the "Face of NAB" (National Association of Broadcasters) in '08 and are working together on a genetics thriller tentatively called "One Small Life." Jenn is attached to feature films: "The Divine Comedy's 'Dante's Inferno'," "Holiday Shelter," and "Climbing Life"
