Jake Hoffman is an American actor. He was born in Los Angeles County, California, the son of actor Dustin Hoffman and Lisa Hoffman (nee Gottsegen) As a Child/Adolescent, he was not much of an actor. He didn't really act much at that stage. He is best known for playing the adult version of Ben Newman in the 2006 comedy fantasy film Click. He and his father both appeared in Barney's Version with Dustin Hoffman cast as the father of the protagonist, and Jake as his grandson.
The two were also cast as grandfather and grandson in the HBO television series "Luck." Both his parents are either Jewish or have a Jewish background. He, like his younger brother Max, had a Bar Mitzvah. His first ever acting role was in the 1991 Movie Hook [which also starred his dad Dustin his sister Rebecca and his brother Max] He had a very small and minor role as a Little Leage Baseball Player who appeared only in the Baseball Match Scene.
