When she was only seven years old she started playing tennis. Her dream was to become a champion and win many titles. In 1998 she became a professional tennis player and started winning her first trophies
and tournaments.
Until now (2007) she has won one WTA single title, three ITF single titles, one WTA doubles titles and four ITF doubles titles. In March 2004 she won the tournament at Acapulco on clay where she met Flavia Pennetta in the final.
The three ITF single tournaments were won at Presov and Opole in 2001 and at Ortisei in 2004. In 2002 she played the final at the tournament in Bratislava against Maja Matevzic, but unfortunately she lost
. Another two finals were lost in 2004 at Estoril and Forest Hills to Emilie Loit and Elena Likhovtseva.
In 2006 she faced Michaella Krajicek in the final of the tournament at Hobart, but she lost with 2-6, 1-6. Kveta Peschke was her partner at the Paris Open in 2005 when they won the title after beating in the final Anabel Medina Garrigues and Dinara Safina.
Her best performances at a Grand Slam tournament were at the Australian Open where she player two quarter-finals, one in 2002 and one in 2004. At Roland Garros she reached the second round in 2002, 2005 and 2006 and at US Open in 2004. At Wimbledon she played in the first round between 2002 and 2006 but she never managed to pass into the next round.
