Holland Roden is an American actress and is best known for her role as Lydia Martin in MTV's popular teen dramedy Teen Wolf. Holland made her professional debut in 2007 in the cancelled HBO series 12 Miles of Bad Road playing Bronwyn. In 2008 Roden was cast as Emily Locke in Lost. She played the character Skylar in the 2008 movie Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, and during 2008-2010 she appeared in TV series including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Pushed, Weeds, Community and Criminal Minds. Since the series debut on June 5, 2011, Roden plays the character Lydia Martin in the MTV series remake of Teen Wolf, starring alongside Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Colton Haynes, Crystal Reed and Dylan O'Brien.

Holland was born in Dallas, Texas. Holland took her love of performing further by enrolling in theater camps, as well as, acting classes to further her passion. However, it was Holland's second love, science that brought her out to Los Angeles and jump-started her career. Holland has remained dedicated to her education as a full-time student, but due to her busy work schedule, she was forced to make the hard decision of switching majors, leaving her love for science behind and majoring in women studies; a field Holland found surprisingly fascinating and recently received her degree in from UCLA.
