Heinrich Schafmeister is a German singer and actor. Schafmeister completed after graduating from the St. Pius High School Coesfeld first the civil service and then studied German literature and music. He broke off his studies in 1980, at the Folkwang School for Music and the Performing Arts to change. There he was with Armin Rohde and Hansa Czypionka in a class. After graduation he went to Aachen, where he played six years theater.
His movie debut was in 1984 in the film hit under the direction of Dominik Graf. Schafmeister also occurs frequently in television series on, such as "Didi Denkelmann" with the campers as "Manfred Hoch" in Wilsberg or "Karl Wolkenfuß" in How to educate my parents?.
Known to a wider audience Schafmeister by the film Comedian Harmonists, in which he the singer Erich A. Collin played. Schafmeister has volunteered as treasurer at the Federation of film and television actor active (BFFS), the union for actors.
