Eve Hewson is an Irish actress. Hewson was born in Dublin in 1991, the second daughter of Bono and Ali Hewson. She has three siblings: older sister Jordan and younger brothers Elijah Bob Patricus Guggi Q and John Abraham. She was educated at St. Andrew's College in Dublin and attended New York University (NYU) prior to making the decision to become an actress.
Hewson made her acting debut in 2005 alongside her sister Jordan in Erica Dunton's short film Lost and Found. She made her feature-length debut three years later in another film directed by Dunton, The 27 Club. That same year Hewson took part in an acting programme at the New York Film Academy. In 2010 she appeared in the music video and accompanying short film for Irish band The Script's song "For the First Time". Hewson's highest-profile film role to date came in 2011 as she starred alongside Sean Penn and Frances McDormand in Paolo Sorrentino's This Must Be the Place.
Eve Hewson met James Lafferty in 2007 while filming The 27 Club in Wilmington, North Carolina. The two began dating in 2010, and briefly split in September, 2012. The two subsequently reconciled and live together in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Hewson is allergic to gluten, noted on her Twitter page on Valentines Day of 2012 when she was delivered cupcakes from an acquaintance. Her Cousin, Ross Stewart is an Australian Model.
